Booker Prize Winners

The annual Booker or Man Booker Prize for an original novel in English was first awarded in 1968 and eligible authors had to reside in British Commonwealth countries. Recently the scope changed so that any English language novel, worldwide, can be selected. For novels translated into English, an International Man Booker Prize was instituted in 2005.
