The Trail at Sea had fulfilled its historic role.

The trail was a fierce and quiet battlefield where the fighters  and sailors had fought for 16 years and defeated the severity of nature as well as enemies who were hundreds of times stronger than themselves in terms of equipment and weapons.

The Trail at Sea, together with Trường Sơn Road - Hồ Chí Minh Trail, has come into the history of the anti-US Imperialist resistance and national salvation as a great accomplishment of the 20th century.
